A quieter, but what can be a more dangerous beach due to the currents further out - so great care must be taken of children to ensure they do not stray out too far although near the edge is no problem - is Cala Nova at the end of a quiet road which shelves more steeply at certain tide times and has no shade although on the other hand it is quite often good for surfing.

It is another beach well served by bars for drinks and snacks between about 10.00am and
6.00pm - my favourite being Bar Cala Nova for good food and cheap wine.
Sun beds and umbrellas are available at ? euros each per day and there is a lifeguard present all day.

Some moods of Cala Nova.
